A homeowner in Short Hills, New Jersey, experienced a flood in the basement due to the heavy rain brought by Hurricane Ida. The tile, sheetrock, baseboard, and concrete materials were affected. Northeast Power Dry Project Manager, Adam, thoroughly inspected the property and communicated the process to the customer. Two of our technicians removed the saturated parts of the sheetrock and deeply sanitized the areas affected. We also installed one dehumidifier, one air scrubber, and twelve air movers to expedite the drying process.

This home in Short Hills, NJ suffered from a flooded basement. The sump pump failed, creating 2 inches of standing water in the home. This caused damage to the content in the basement and the concrete floor and walls. After pumping out the water and removing the content from the basement, our crew steam cleaned and disinfected the affected areas. Then, they installed 13 air movers and 2 dehumidifiers to extract the remaining water from the home.
